10/25/23 International V-Label Awards 2023 Finalists Revealed
Finalists include Croatian brand O’Plant
- O’Plant Burger and Ćevapčići are competing for first place in “Sustainability” category
Animal Friends Croatia have reported growing anticipation in the run up to the 2023 International V-Label Awards as the finalists are revealed. Over 230 nominations in three professional categories have been received, with 15 finalists selected in each of the categories. The expert jury is currently evaluating the finalist nominations for the most innovative plant-based products. Before the winners are announced in November, V-Label is thrilled to reveal brands that made it to the final round in each of the categories. The winners and the results of the Consumers’ Choice public vote will be announced on the V-Label website. They will be showcased at Plant Based World Expo Europe, a 100% plant-based event and the largest European fair for retailers, food service professionals and investors, in London on 15-16th November.
Animal Friends Croatia state that the “Sustainability” category was designed to highlight plant-based products demonstrating efforts to reduce the environmental impact and promote sustainable practices. Podravka O’Plant Burger and Ćevapčići are among the 15 brands selected in the innovation category. For the third time, Croatian companies are selected for the final round in various categories of the International V-Label Awards, which is a testament to the quality of domestic vegan products, as well as an increased interest among the Croatian manufacturers to license their products with the V-Label.

In addition, the label is attractive to buyers, regardless of their dietary habits, while instilling confidence by offering transparency and ease of shopping.
