02/17/07 Animal Friends Croatia in a Carnival Parade in Slovenia
Thirty-seven activists and supporters of Animal Friends, together with activists from Slovenia, Austria and Italy, will take part in the first international anti-fur demo in Slovenian capitol Ljubljana. A carnival protest will take place on February 17, 2007.
Carnival parade with more than 500 masks will start at 11 A.M. from Krekov Square and moved through the center of Ljubljana towards Congress Square where the carnival program will be organized.
Apart from, drums, whistles, megaphone and maskes, protesters will carry numerous banners like "Carnival chases away fur," "Take chinchillas back to America," "Let's close chinchilla farms," "I am from a stone age, I wear fur," "Who takes away freedom from animals, doesn't deserve it himself"...
The bus is leaving for Ljubljana on February 17 at 7:45 A.M. in front of the Concert hall Vatroslav Lisinski.
