The first thing I saw, when
to my eyes, first came light.
My mother's sweet face
full of love, full of fright.
I knew through her eyes,
that the day would never come,
when we would be free,
and the world's creatures one.
It's all we ever wanted to be,
running and jumping and chasing balls free.
Yet, here we are in this prison called life,
waiting and longing for an end to our strife.
Each day, we flee, from mobs full of hate.
knowing in our hearts,
that death is our fate.
But the hope is still there, that we'll
learn not to hate.
Please come; be our rescue, before it's too late.
It's all we ever wanted to be,
running and jumping and chasing balls free.
Yet, here we are in this prison called life,
waiting and longing for an end to our strife.
We ask for your help,
gather round, hear us please.
The terror and sorrow, has us on our knees.
Stand up, and shout for us loud,
Stand up, and be counted, stand up and be proud.
It's all we ever wanted to be,
running and jumping and chasing balls free.
Yet, here we are in this prison called life,
waiting and longing for an end to our strife.
So high upon the hills,
away from all the din.
Safe now we feel,
as we forgive man, his sin.
Here where bushes bloom
with fruit that quenches thirst,
our bellies empty still,
for us that's the worst.

Today I'm so sad, for today my mother bled.
I licked her sweet face, her soul gone, she is dead.
We, are the lost, is these cities of strife
but we don't have much chance in
this land without life.
